Appointment

You will first be scheduled an intake appointment that usually takes two hours. This appointment typically consists of a meeting with our intake specialist, completing questionnaires, and one hour of testing with the child.  Prior to this appointment, we will mail you some basic information that you will be required to read and complete. We also ask that you bring us some information including a list of current medications, prior evaluations, your child’s educational plan, and pertinent medical records.

Most insurance plans, as well as Medicaid, require a pre-authorization.  This means that after the intake appointment, we will have to submit the required forms requesting that your child undergo a neuropsychological evaluation.  If approved, then we will schedule your child with the doctor and he or she will be evaluated.  To make this process easier, our office manager can assist you in completing the required forms and guide you in obtaining any other necessary information.
